Sara will be appearing on a panel discussing location in mysteries on September 2 at Bouchercon, in San Diego.

Fiction Addiction

Sara appeared at the Fiction Addiction bookstore in Greenville, South Carolina on June 23 .  She was accompanied by her latest book, The Bone Riddle, author Valerie Nieman, and Valerie’s latest book, In The Lonely Backwater.

The Bone Riddle At McIntyre’s

On June 17, Sara discussed her latest Alexa Glock novel, The Bone Riddle.  She shared the stage with fellow mystery writer Tom Kies, who featured his newest book, Whisper Room. Sara was awarded a plaque by the folks at McIntyre’s Books. Carteret Writers Conference

Sara will be a featured speaker at the quadrennial Carteret Writers Conference on Saturday, April 15.  The full-day conference will be held at the Carolina Home & Gardens venue in Newport, NC.  Visit the Carteret Writers web site for more information and to register.

Weymouth Center for the Arts Live Event

Sara read excerpts from her latest novel, The Bone Track, at the Weymouth Center for the Arts in Southern Pines, NC on Wednesday, April 6.

The Bone Track – Book Launch

On March 26, Sara had a sold-out launch of her latest Alexa Glock mystery, The Bone Track, at McIntyre’s Books with Landis Wade, author of Deadly Declarations. Sara read excerpts from her novel, took questions from attendees, and signed books afterwards.

Facebook Live Event

Sara appeared live on Facebook with fellow authors Landis Wade and Valerie Nieman on Tuesday, March 22. A video of the event is available here.

Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival Virtual Panel

Sara appeared with other authors of travel-based mysteries on a panel titled “Are We There Yet? Traveling Sleuths On The Case” on Saturday, March 5.  You can view the panel discussion here.

Poisoned Pen Press Virtual Book Event

Sara will join fellow Poisoned Pen author Frederick Weisel for an online discussion of their latest books on Thursday, March 3, at 8:00 pm Eastern time. The discussion will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube and will be available for streaming afterwards.

Virtual Writing and Forensics Event

Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, NC, hosted an online book event featuring The Bones Remember with Sara and her forensics expert, Dr. Heidi Eldridge, on Thursday, November 19.  Sara and Heidi discussed the book, with an emphasis on the forensic parts, and engaged in a Q&A about the book and forensics in general.  Quail Ridge recorded the event and has made it available in its entirety here.

Poisoned Pen Press Virtual Book Event

Sara’s editor, Barbara Peterson of Poisoned Pen Press, hosted Sara and fellow Poisoned Pen Press mystery author Mary Anna Evans for an online discussion on Monday, October 19. If you missed it, or want to see it again, you can watch it here.

The Bones Remember – Virtual Book Launch

The Bones Remember has been published! Pete Mock of McIntyre’s Books hosted Sara and moderator Nora Gaskin for a Zoom-based launch of Sara’s latest novel on Saturday, September 12. Sara read excerpts from the novel and took questions from the 65+ virtual attendees. Later, Sara signed books for socially distanced (but not socially distant!) friends and fans at McIntyre’s.

Crime Scene Mystery Bookfest

On February 8, 2020, Sara appeared on a panel with other mystery writers in the barn at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC!  Crime Scene was hosted by McIntyre’s Books.

Molten Mud Murder Launch!

The September 7 launch of Molten Mud Murder at McIntyre’s Books in Fearrington Village was a standing-room-only success!  I spoke about New Zealand, my newly published book, and my writing experiences to more than 60 family, friends, and mystery fans.
